Well, I tried another Blogger Recipe today...it turned out okay. I was really excited for this one, a Shrimp Bisque. I am not the best cook yet so the short falls of the meal may have been my fault but I was disappointed. The broth was a bit too thin for my liking and we both felt it was lacking some flavor. My Love being the cook in the family said if we made it again he would try adding a bit of dill and some basil.
I left out the parsley (since it wasn't cheap and its mostly for looks). Hence, the soup is not super pretty, but here is my try...
Maybe your try will be better, or you can suggest how we can fix it. http://oneperfectbite.blogspot.com/2011/01/maine-shrimp-chowder-pink-saturday.html

I am so sorry you did not enjoy the chowder. If you make this again be sure to simmer the shrimp shells in milk for as long as you can. It is very thin because that's the nature of this version of the soup. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
